Position Overview:
Creative Business Innovations is seeking an organized and hands-on HR Admin to support daily Human Resources and administrative operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role serves as a key support position for HR processes including onboarding, associate relations, payroll support, staffing coordination, reporting, and employee documentation while partnering closely with leadership, temporary staffing agencies, trainers, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources & Associate Support:
- Maintain and update associate records including employment, compensation, attendance, evaluations, and personnel actions.
- Process employment activities including applications, background checks, drug screens, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
- Support benefits administration and maintain related records.
- Administer discipline documentation and process personnel action forms.
- Answer associate policy and HR-related questions.
- Process and track vacation requests.
- Support temporary workforce management and maintain agency relationships.
Payroll & Reporting:
- Verify timecards for payroll submission.
- Prepare and distribute reports including overtime, turnover, vacations, and workforce metrics.
- Process monthly invoices and allocate costs appropriately.
Operations & Administrative Support:
- Attend and represent HR in meetings and training activities.
- Coordinate with onsite trainers and support workforce planning.
- Support office operations including phones, email, filing, supplies, scanning, and document management.
- Assist with company events and activities in partnership with Corporate Administration.
Manufacturing Support:
- Support plant initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and operational excellence activities:
- Maintain awareness of production operations and support production activities as needed.
- Promote and enforce company and safety policies.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Associate’s Degree.
- 2+ years of office administration experience.
- Experience supporting HR, payroll, onboarding, or employee administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Physical & Work Environment Expectations:
- Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to walk the production floor daily.
- Ability to lift 30–75 lbs. continuously and occasionally carry materials.
- Ability to support overtime, Saturdays, shutdown periods, and business needs.
- PPE and plant uniform required while onsite.
